Born in Windsor and raised in Orillia, Stewart completed his undergraduate studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, and then earned a graduate degree at the University of Ottawa. He has lived in different parts of our beautiful province, and today calls Toronto his home. Passionate about politics and public affairs, Stewart has over two decades built a successful government relations business.

Stewart has volunteered as an elected EDA Director, campaign chair, fundraiser and member of the National Constitution Committee. He was elected as a National Councillor in 2022, representing the interests of Ontario members on the Conservative Party’s highest governing body. On National Council, Stewart is Vice-Chair of the Secretariat Committee. In the 2025 federal election, Stewart was campaign manager for CPC candidate Muhammad Ishaq’s campaign in Mississauga Centre .

Since being elected to National Council, Stewart has dedicated himself to meeting and listening to the grassroots EDA members who are the backbone of our movement. He has spoken with thousands of volunteers and attended hundreds of events in communities across Ontario. He brings their perspectives and challenges to National Council meetings, giving a voice to the party’s greatest cheerleaders: the men and women who volunteer their time to a cause in which they believe.

In addition to his two terms on National Council, Stewart brings corporate governance experience serving on the Board of Directors for the Albany Club and as a member of the Board of Governors for his alma mater, the University of Ottawa. He was also a member of the Justices of the Peace Appointments Advisory Committee, the body responsible for advising on appointments for judicial officers that preside over certain provincial offences and other judicial matters.
